About Hunting Athlete

Hunting Athlete is a Utah-based hunting site. It publishes plain gift and gear guides for hunters and for the people who shop for them.

What we do

We pick products from established brands that hunters already know and trust, explain what each one is for, and link you to the seller. Our current guide is the Hunter Gift Guide. We plan to add guides for optics (binoculars, spotting scopes and rangefinders) and other gear.

How we choose products

We start with quality and brand reputation. Commission rate is a second consideration and does not decide what appears in a guide. We show a price only when we checked it, and we label every price check with a date. When we have not checked, the card says "Check price."

How we make money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission from the seller at no extra cost to you. This is how the site pays for itself. Each page with affiliate links carries a disclosure in the footer.
